“It’s not every day you come across a coffee you think about when you first wake up and before you go to sleep, this coffee does just that.” Josh – Coffee Director
Josh loves a great pour over, and this Kibingo Station Burundi bean ticks all his boxes. This African beauty is a great example of a washed African bean, displaying notes of red currants and soft fruits. Its balanced profile makes this coffee great as a filter brew, long black, espresso or cold drip – great for those hot summer days!
Burundi’s volcanic soils, high altitude and plentiful rain creates ideal growing conditions, something this bean makes apparent. In Burundi there are no large plantations, coffee is produced by small family run farms. Kibingo Station collects cherries from around 3500 local coffee farmers each year to produce quality beans for us to enjoy.
Will you enjoy this bean?
